This is a two bedroom condo (approx. 700 sq. ft.) located in a new development along El Coco beach. It has a living area with a fully equipped kitchen. There is a/c in both bedrooms and ceiling fans which keep it very comfortable. The unit overlooks the pool area.
This condo is only about 200 meters from the beach, about 2 minutes walk (slowly, no hurries here) and a 10 minute walk into town along the road or the beach. There is a commercial center in the condo complex with a great Italian restaurant, internet cafe, a mini mart and several other shops. You can also rent bikes and kayaks in town. There are several dive shops that offer lessons in town and dives out to some islands and other dive sites. You can also snorkel from the beach and see a lot. There are surf tours to places like Ollie's Point and Witch's Rock, and Tamarindo is about an hour's drive away. There are also several national parks nearby, great for day trips. Sport fishing, bird watching and canopy tours are also very popular and nearby.
Playas del Coco has many restaurants, stores and some nightlife where you can hear and dance to lots of Latin sounds. Walking around town, visiting various shops and relaxing at the park are great ways to spend a day. El Coco still has that small beach town feel, and is not a full-blown "resort" type place.
